Introductory meeting

After you complete the inquiry form, we will contact you at the number provided to discuss your interest and answer any questions you might have.

Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)

A&W will provide you with the current FDD explaining the A&W franchise system.

Franchise Partner Application

You will be asked to complete a Franchise Partner Application.

Management review

Once the application has been reviewed, we’ll schedule a conference call to discuss the A&W franchise system and your specific development interests in more detail.

Discovery Day

Approved applicants are then invited to attend a Discovery Day at our Restaurant Support Center in Lexington, KY, where you will have an opportunity to meet with members of our leadership team and learn more about the outstanding franchise support services we offer.

Franchise agreement awarded

Upon successful application and attendance at Discovery Day, A&W will award a franchise agreement to approved franchisees.
